Banappeals NEEDS to have a Direct email / contact connected to OnlineBookClub.org
Tabby
So I have an issue that is pretty serious that I think a lot of reviewers are getting. In my case an author didnt like my review and used under handed tactics to get me banned from the review team where my fate is being held with Banappeals. However as we all know Banappeals is almost / next to impossible to get a hold of. It's like being on the phone with the elevator music on for hours and no one answers then a click the line is dead. Rense and repeat. My case has been on hold now for 3 months and im beyond frustrated because this is my only job and nothing can go through until the ban is lifted.
So I want to suggest a way for people to contact Banappeals more directly or have them more easily in contact with staff / members of OnlineBookClub.org so that communication between the two can be easier and things can get done faster. At this stage / rate things are going nothing is happening and its almost as if I'm being ignored because the lack of contact / update is nonexistent.
Please make this happen

This is so true, cause I was also banned (temporarily) from using the Review team. The fact they haven’t even responded to the email I sent to their support weeks ago is quite ridiculous not even a “Thanks for reaching out to us” reply, just nothing. They really need to make an improvement for real. I was even considering deleting the account because this doesn’t make any sense at all.

I think you're right, and a direct email could make some difference. I'm sorry you've been waiting for 3 months to hear the result of your ban appeal. It's an unacceptable amount of time. It would also be beneficial to have a fixed timeframe, such as 2 weeks, to hear back.

Yeah, Tabby, you have many who will agree with you. I am in the same situation and have sent over 100 emails to the "alleged" support. Nothing but a continual run around and zero resolution. "Thank you for reaching out to us....." This is a flawed system. A ban is slapped quickly, falsely accusing AI usage, and no proof. The action emerges from the laziness of someone on the editorial staff. This is rapidly becoming a highly incompetant organization that uses junky AI tools to assess and AI ban.
